Flow is a focused, well-rounded hour of hatha yoga. You will move through the classic "arch of a hatha yoga class", including gentle warmup, sun salutations, standing postures, twists, balancing postures, backbends, and savasana (final resting pose). You are led through this sequence breath-by-breath to keep the mind clear and movements intentional. Variations are given for postures so that class can either be more restorative or more vigorous, based on your needs that day. The emphasis here is on "feel-good" poses and sequences, leaving you feeling refreshed and wrung out.
Strong, Fluid & Flexible is a moderately-paced hour of yoga incorporating longer holds, thoughtful breath-work (pranayama), and slow, fluid sequences. Class is designed to lengthen tight muscles, quiet the mind, and leave you feeling grounded.
Strength is a lighthearted 30 minute class is designed to give you an energy boost in the middle of your day and help you cultivate your own innate strength and resilience. Classes will build full body strength with an emphasis on the core and glutes. Expect a mixture of body-weight strength training, cardio, and plyometrics. Even while moving through challenges, we will move with awareness and attention to the breath.
