A private yoga session is a wonderful way to bring your practice to the next level. Whether you’re seeking a stronger asana (pose) practice, a more consistent meditation schedule or simply a way to provide some self love, I am here to help guide you towards your full potential. 

 

Though group classes are a lot of fun, having the undivided attention of an educated, experienced instructor can be invaluable. Have you ever received an awesome hands-on assist or verbal cue during class that helped you to learn something new about your alignment or feel the pose in a new way? During a one-on-one yoga lesson, you can expect an assist or cue in every single pose! This will allow your practice to expand at a more consistent pace than by solely attending group drop-in classes. 

 

As a beginner, sometimes group classes can be a bit intimidating! A few private sessions with me and you will have the strong foundation necessary to feel confident in a group environment. Or perhaps you are dealing with an old or new injury and want to know more about which poses to avoid or modify. As a student of anatomy, I am well versed in injury prevention and the natural alignment of the body. It is my goal to provide you with the tools and knowledge to be able to confidently return to your yoga practice pain-free. Advanced students also find private instruction to be super enjoyable! We will work together to lead you into more challenging poses in a safe and positive environment. 

 

Private instruction allows you to really investigate the poses in your own body. Without the distractions of others around you, you can tune into the sensations and energetic aspects of the practice. I will provide personalized class themes, custom sequencing and hands-on adjustments to help you gain flexibility, strength and balance at your own pace. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before your first session, we will discuss your specific goals and intentions surrounding your yoga practice. 

 

Each session is $100/hour. Included is a personalized yoga sequence and (if desired) breathing exercises, follow-up notes and guided concluding meditation (savasana). I will also provide all props, studio space and ambience : )

 

If you would like a longer or shorter session, we can certainly communicate about that and tailor your session to your goals and needs. The location of your private is also flexible. We can meet at your home, office, or at the beautiful Sangha Studio at 120 Pine Street, in Burlington, Vermont.
